HP.com, pfff. I've been such a huge fan of HP for so many years.

After several years of seemingly trying every laptop brand and building my own workstations using refurbished HP chassis (eventually, I had to work up to the HP chassis), I see no need to purchase from them again anytime soon. The old stuff I have still works fine.

In fact, I'm creating this post on a refurbished HP z820 system I rebuilt which was originally used by a special effects production company. It was a member of a pretty powerful workgroup (Think mesh-computing. Render farms. Tatooine.). It's quiet as a church mouse, with more cores than all of Washington's apple trees.

My point being, if you're still in the corporate world, work in government, eat at McDonald's, or generally like powerful, quiet, reliable business systems, you may want to talk to HP.

Re-building: Stronger, Better, Faster Buy refurbished. Tear it down. Rebuild it.

If necessary, pay Microsoft for another licensed OS. They deserve it.

Nope, not doing it. I'm old, cranky, and tired. Maybe later if I'm not old, cranky, and tired.

In the meantime, I ordered a new larger capacity battery and a new SSD for it. I'll likely just start from scratch with Windows 10 Pro, as I don't think it will run 11. Maybe I'll just use the System Reset. I could give two shits about anything on it, so there's that.

We shall see. All of this and more may be done in the comfort of my office, dungeon, or my mobile office.

I'm so confused on where I'm supposed to work. No worries, I'll figure it out. Odds are on my side. Cheers, my friends.
