fourcc.org is a great resource for researching multimedia FourCC codes. If you don't find that FourCC in the DCCTV Database, try searching their site.
The FFmpeg project provides sample video files for many of the codecs Libavcodec supports. They can be used for testing, validation, etc.

Digital video files can use a plethora of frameworks, codecs, file formats and software. Even standard video file formats created by professional grade equipment can appear differently, on the very same computer system, when played back via different software.
Are you seeing every frame? Has it been edited? Is it playing back at the proper speed? Are the colors correct? Why are there gaps in the video? How come I can only see the time stamp in some players, on some computers, but not all the time? What about the aspect ratio (width x height), is it correct? Can you explain why? I can.

For over 35 years I have been solving problems for our Government, Military, Law Enforcement and citizens through the deployment & use of state-of-the-art technologies. In addition to award winning leadership and project management skills, I have processed hundreds of Digital & Multimedia Evidence cases from around the world. I have also designed and implemented multiple digital evidence labs, to include many of their standard operating procedures. My professional technology career began in the U.S. Army.
During operations Golden Pheasant (Honduras), Just Cause (Panama), Desert Shield (Saudi Arabia), Desert Storm (Iraq/Kuwait)), and Operations Restore Hope & Gothic Serpent (Somalia) I served with the United States Army's 82nd Airborne Division. In 1993 I was named Team Chief of the 82nd's Emergency Operations Communications Center (EOC). I am a Lifetime Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) Member.
Later I went on to become a New York State Peace Officer and Municipal Police Instructor and founding member of one of the first law enforcement digital evidence labs in New York State. During my time in local law enforcement, among many other vital local government operational responsibilities, I was also a member of the FBI Southern Tier Cyber Predator Task Force, and the NYS Digital Multimedia Evidence Technical Working Group.
Today I'm honored to be considered by many of my esteemed colleagues around the world as a pioneer of several of our industry's adopted Standard Procedures, Best Practices & Guidelines dealing specifically with Digital Multimedia Evidence (DME).
