Videotape Time/Date Comparison Demonstrative
 16.23 MB
 10-25-2023
Average Rating:

This demonstrative was created by me using Flash-based tools to create an interactive chart.  The chart depicts the comparison of a known VHS recording and a questioned recording from the same incident.  It also includes comparisons with Alarm and Cellular Phone records.

EXE launches chart full-screen.  Use the navigation links at the top and click on the timeline buttons to display events.  NOTE: The cellular phone records comparison no longer works for some reason, probably because this is so old! lol

Bank Robbery case from 2004.  Loronix LWTViewer is a self-executable player that includes the sample evidence.

Since there was no other way to export the video, screen capture was used for further processing and analysis (in addition to the image exports).

DCCTV Video Export Example - Time Gaps/Missing Frames
 182.09 MB
 10-25-2023
Average Rating:

This MPEG file was created from a DCCTV system AVI export.  In all formats exported from the source system, the video frequently "jumps" due to frame rate limitations of the system.  This can be problematic if not explained prior to viewing, as it could lead to questions of reliability and/or misrepresentation.
