Member Badges & Invites Earn You Karma

It's pretty amazing to me that in just under a year we've reached over 475 active members, and that number is steadily growing.

Now you can proudly display your official member badge to show your affiliation with our professional community, and we've developed a more efficient way for members to invite their peers and colleagues to participate as well.

Member Badges
Members can now easily show their affiliation with our community on other social networking, personal and business Websites! Members can even add our badge to their email and forum signatures! Give it a whirl, simply click on "Member Badges" from the menu in the right-hand column of your profile, copy the code for the badge you want, then paste it where you want to display it! We will be developing more badges too, so check them out periodically...

New Invitation Tool
We also just published a new invitation tool to make it easy for members to invite their peers and colleagues to join our community. Take a minute to tell a friend about our site - click on the "Invite Your Colleagues" link from the menu in the right-hand column of your profile, enter your friend's email address(es) and click invite. Now you can even import email addresses from a whole slew of Webmail and email clients, such as Outlook, Outlook Express, Thunderbird, Gmail, Yahoo, MSN, Hotmail, etc... Inviting your peers and colleagues couldn't be easier!

Earn Good Karma
Both of these new features will earn you Karma. Why would you want good Karma? Let me answer that with a question - why wouldn't you? 😄

No, Karma won't buy you that plush, new, purple velvet hat you've had your eye on, but it may give you a warm fuzzy knowing your helping the greater good! 😉

I'm really excited about what's in store for our community and related disciplines in 2009! Have a happy and safe New Year everybody, and thanks for participating!
