Stumbled on to a well done video from Computerphile called "How Blurs & Filters Work", which I thought some of you may find interesting. Discussion centers on what an image kernel is and how they're used in image processing. Video is under 8 minutes and is embedded after the break. Enjoy.

I recently completed an upgrade of our DCCTV Wiki and wanted to announce some significant changes that I've implemented. First and foremost, the Wiki is no longer a private members-only resource. Effective immediately, I have also migrated DME Resources and the Wiki to a Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International License.

Previously the Wiki was only available to our over 1,800 verified Professional Community members. Interested parties that do not meet our Professional Community membership requirements are now welcome to participate in the DCCTV Wiki.

This isn't breaking news by any means, but hopefully some may find it helpful.

Adobe CC 2015 Removes Prior Versions by Default

Before you click the Update button to install the new CC 2015 version of your Adobe application, consider whether you want to keep the prior version installed first. By default the new Creative Cloud installer will remove prior versions.

To keep your prior version installed, click "Update" and then select "Advanced Options" to expand the window. De-select "Remove old versions", then click "Update" to start the process.

For more information check out this Adobe blog post.
